The 21st of February will see several African entrepreneurs from around the African continent descend into Gaborone, for the 2nd Africa Youth Entrepreneurs Summit. Which will be held at the Travelodge Conference centre. The talking point for this 1-day summit is ‘Disruptive innovation in today’s versatile business jungle’.

The AYES aims to foster more partnerships among African entrepreneurs to create wealth and jobs for the fast-growing African economies. The aim of the summit is to achieve this by sharing valuable information through mentorships and guidance from some of Africa’s best entrepreneurs.

Some of the brilliant entrepreneurial minds that will grace the summit are well known across the continent for their various business endeavours.

Lemogang Senwelo, the organiser of this brilliant entrepreneurial event plans to host it in a different African country every year. This will give entrepreneurs attending the event to learn how other African entrepreneurs navigate the ever-changing entrepreneurial landscape.

This summit comes on the backdrop of a major policy change across the continent: The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which was brokered by the African Union.

If you would like to learn from these bright african entrepreneurs, make sure to get tickets from Monsieur Stores at Game City and Airport Junction. This summit presents an opportunity for entrepreneurs to invest in themselves and build formidable networks. These networks will be necessary in the next stage of africa’s rise.
